Here's a fresh batch of travel workouts you can do while on vacation or a business trip!
“Anywhere AMRAP”
AMRAP 30–40:
- 400m Run (500m Row or 1.2k Bike) (~ 2 mins)
- 20 Air Squats
- 15 Sit-Ups
- 10 Burpees
“Traveler’s Grind” 25 minutes
EMOM 25 (rotate):
- 45 sec Jog / Row / Bike
- 45 sec Jog / Row / Bike (just a little more effort)
- 45 sec Step-Back Lunges or Air Squats
- 45 sec Plank Hold
- Rest - or - hold Plank for longer
“Hotel Sprints” 16-24 minutes
Every 2 minutes for 8 rounds (16 min total) or 12 rounds (24 mins):
- :30 sprint (Run, Bike, or Row)
- :30 easy
“Pyramid Intervals” 14-21 minutes
Run / Bike / Row:
- 3 minutes moderate
- 2 minutes fast
- 1 minute sprint
(Rest 1 minute)
Repeat 2-3 times
"What the WATT?" 20 minutes
20 minutes on a Bike, Treadmill, or Rower
Score your Average Wattage Output (you'll need to set up the monitor/computer prior)
“Travel Cindy” 20 minutes
AMRAP 20:
- 5 Push-Ups
- 10 Sit-Ups (sub for pull-ups)
- 15 Air Squats
“Annie on the Road” 10–15 minutes
50-40-30-20-10 reps of:
- Mountain Climbers (L+R = 1 rep)
- Sit-Ups
