About Coach

What do you love most about coaching or CrossFit in general?

What I love about CrossFit is the variety! No two days are the same and it offers something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned athletes, especially our youth. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching someone achieve a goal they didn’t think was possible. Seeing our youth program progress over time and the confidence grow with the young athletes is really what makes my heart happy.

What small, consistent habit has made the biggest difference in your own fitness?

Scheduling dedicated time for fitness. Whether it’s a full workout at KCI or a short, easy walk around the neighborhood, intentionally setting the time aside keeps me consistent and grounded.

Outside the gym, what does it mean for you to be “FIT?”

Having the energy and ability to show up for my family. Keeping up with my kids now - running, playing, and being active along side of them, not just now but in the future. I want to be strong and healthy enough to keep up with my children’s children one day.

Come to me if you need help with…

Youth movement patterns. As a physical therapist with a pediatric certification, I’m especially passionate about helping kids move well and safely, even from their first opportunities to move as babies!
