KCI CrossFit Values: Week 3

So far we’ve brought you 2 of our Values here at KCI CrossFit.  If you haven’t read the articles, you can do so here:

WEEK 1: Be Persistent

WEEK 2: Have Integrity

This week we want to introduce Value #3: Be a Champion.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever given up at something.  Raise the other hand if you now regret it.  Now give someone around you a High-10, because today can mark the last day that you ever quit again.  Today you can be a champion!

Be a Champion

Every champion was once a contender who refused to give up.  Refuse mediocrity.

Champions don’t win every game.  They don’t hit PR’s every workout.  They also don’t give up when they stumble, and they don’t avoid challenging situations.  Champions have an attitude that hard work pays off, and that giving up is simply not an option.  Champions surround themselves with people that will challenge them, encourage them, and hold them accountable.  By looking long term, champions get better every single day in the smallest of ways.

Spending extra time focusing on technique,  putting in extra endurance training,  showing up when you just don’t feel like it, or asking for help.  These are all ways that YOU can be a champion as well.  Want to change?  It all starts with the mindset that you will refuse mediocrity.  Winning will follow.  At KCI, we are all Champions.
